Playing styles and prediction
It was towards the end of the last year where Bu rose up the rankings with success on home soil. The world number 69 has found it difficult to transition on the main tour but is still a threat from the baseline with a mixture of roar power and variety causing his opponents problems. Now Bu looks to take the next step up and show his skills on a bigger stage.
Norrie will continue his aggressive play, using the backhand to force errors from opponent while finishing points off at the net. Meanwhile Bu will look to be consistent from the baseline and use his power to force Norrie into erratic errors. This will be a good early test for Norrie but the Brit should prevail in three sets.
