Playing Styles & Prediction

Kartal has continued to build on her success last year, and was impressive for Great Britain but while her clay record is quite favourable, she skipped the dirt completely in 2024. She will have gained a lot of confidence with her two wins at the weekend.

Gracheva’s focus has gotten her out of tight situations and most recently took Harriet Dart to three sets in Charleston and has strong records on clay. This could be a tight one – with the edge going to the slightly higher ranked Kartal.

Prediction: Kartal in three sets.
