NEW YORK, USA – Billy Harris is given a second chance at the US Open and the lucky loser will face Felix Auger-Aliassime to begin his campaign in New York.

Harris will aim to take advantage of Auger-Aliassime’s returning vulnerability by being aggressive and proactive on serve.

 

 

Playing Styles and Prediction

In what has been an inconsistent season for Auger-Aliassime, the Canadian showed some confident tennis in Cincinnati to reach the quarter-finals. That will give Auger-Aliassime a confidence boost as he will now aim to resurrect his Grand Slam season and now targets a deep run at the US Open.

Harris will need to serve aggressively as he will look to rush the Canadian’s baseline play. Meanwhile, Auger-Aliassime will use the backhand to force errors from Harris as he will aim to finish off points at the net. This will be a good opportunity for Harris and if he can get off to a quick start then he can pounce on the Canadian’s vulnerability under pressure. However, Auger-Aliassime is expected to prevail with his experience playing a pivotal part.
