- Jack Draper is into the world’s top ten after winning his maiden Masters 1000 title in Indian Wells.
- Jakub Mensik is up by 30 places to 24 in the world after winning his first Masters 1000 title in Miami.
- Meanwhile Emma Raducanu made her return to the world’s top 50 after reaching the quarter-finals in Miami.
MIAMI, USA – Jack Draper and Jakub Mensik made big ranking gains after their breakthrough success in Indian Wells and Miami respectively.

ATP Rankings and Brits Top 10
This week’s rankings report is headlined by Jakub Mensik who followed in Jack Draper’s footsteps by winning his maiden Masters 1000 event in America. The Czech Republican nearly withdrew from the tournament before the first round but then defeated the likes of Draper, Taylor Fritz and Novak Djokovic to win the title. As a result Mensik is up 30 places to 24 in the world and looks to do more damage with the tour now heading to clay.
As mentioned Mensik followed in Draper’s footsteps with the British number one having an incredible title win at Indian Wells. The Brit defeated Carlos Alcaraz along the way to claim his maiden Masters 1000 title in California and is into the top ten for the first time in his career at seven in the world.
In other significant ranking moves, Stefanos Tsitsipas’ recent rejuvenated run sees the Greek climb up ten places to eight in the world. Meanwhile Daniil Medvedev moved out of the world’s top ten, falling down three places to 11 in the world. There is also a three place fall for Grigor Dimitrov as the Bulgarian is now 18 in the world while there is a welcome return to the top 100 for Borna Coric who has climbed up 16 places to 85 in the world.
In other ranking news for the Brits, Jacob Fearnley is now British number two after the Brit climbed up ten places to 73 in the world. While Cameron Norrie edged nearer to an exit from the world’s top 100 as he moved down five places to 86 in the world. There is also an exit from the world’s top 200 for Dan Evans as he moved down 21 places to 204 in the world.

WTA Rankings and Brits Top 10
The two sunshine double winners on the women’s side were Mirra Andreeva and Aryna Sabalenka. In Indian Wells, Andreeva won a second consecutive WTA 1000 title by defeating Sabalenka in the final and as a result climbed up to six in the world but is now down one place to seven in the world. The impressive teenager couldn’t match her form in Miami as she was beaten by Amanda Anisimova which gave the opportunity to Sabalenka to extend her lead at the top of the rankings. Sabalenka took the opportunity with both hands to cruise to the Miami title and now leads Iga Swiatek by over 3,000 points.
In other top ten news, Jasmine Paolini reclaimed her place as world number six after reaching the semi-finals in Miami. There was also a return to the world’s top ten for Paula Badosa with the Spaniard replacing Emma Navarro as she climbed up two places to nine in the world. There was also a two place drop for Elena Rybakina as the Kazakh’s turbulent season continues by dropping to ten in the world.
In other significant ranking moves defending champion Danielle Collins dropped seven places to 22 in the world. There was also a 15 place drop the rankings for Victoria Azarenka as her injury struggles continued in Miami and is now at 47 in the world. Meanwhile Maria Sakkari’s poor run of form continued as she fell down the rankings by 13 places to 64 in the world.
A phenomenal run to the quarter-finals in Miami for Emma Raducanu means the former US Open champion makes a return to the world’s top 50, climbing up 12 places to 48 in the world. There was also a two place rise for Sonay Kartal who is at 61 in the world while Katie Boulter is now down four places to 39 in the world as she is yet to pick up form this season.
