S-HERTOGENBOSCH, NETHERLANDS – Julian Cash & Ll-3, 2-6, 12-oyd Glasspool entered the ATP event and were the second seeds. The Brits made the final and were defeated by the third seeds.

Julian Cash & Lloyd Glasspool entered the ATP event and were the second seeds. In the first round the Brits drew Jean-Julien Rojer & Bart Stevens. The Dutchmen couldn’t stay with the Brits in the first set, as Cash & Glasspool broke early and took the lead. The second set saw Rojer & Stevens dominate and level up the match. The final set was a match tiebreak. The Brits edged through and took the match 6-4, 2-6, 12-10.

The quarter-final saw the Brits against Peter Nouza & Patrik Rikl. The Czech pair found the seeds too good in the first set, as Cash & Glasspool broke early to take the lead. The second set was much closer, as Nouza & Rikl stayed close and forced a tiebreak. In the breaker, it was the seeds that eased through and moved into the next round 6-3, 7-6(3).

In the semi-final the Brits were against Ariel Behar & Joran Vliegen. The seeds once again broke early and took the lead. The second set saw Behar & Vliegen go toe-to-toe with the Brits. Eventually, a tiebreak ensued. In the breaker it was Cash & Glasspool that edged through and made the next round 6-3, 7-6(6).

The final saw the Brits against the third seeds Matthew Ebden & Jordan Thompson. The Australians broke serve and took the lead. The second set saw the Brits break early and level up the match against Ebden & Thompson. The final set was a match tiebreak and saw the Australians edge through and take the trophy 6-4, 3-6, 10-7.

 

Doubles Round Up

Jodie Burrage & Sonay Kartal were defeated by Lyudmyla Kichenok & Erin Routliffe in the first round at Queens 7-6(8), 7-6(1).

Olivia Nicholls & Tereza Mihalikova were defeated by Ellen Perez & Shuai Zhang in the first round at Queens 7-6(3), 7-6(5).

Katie Boulter & Emma Raducanu were defeated by Lyudmula Kichenok & Erin Routliffe in the quarter-final at Queens 6-2, 7-5.

Tom Hands & James MacKinlay were defeated by Luca Sanchez & Seita Watanabe in the first round in Lyon 7-6(3), 6-3.

Soumeya Anane with Mariia Kostiuk were defeated by Jessie Aney & Justina Mikulskyte in the first round in Biarritz 6-0, 6-1.

Hugo Coquelin & Luca Pow were defeated by Billy Blaydes & Patrick Foley in the quarter-final in Monastir 7-6(4), 1-6, 10-7.

Nicolas Philibert with Ahmed Mouhan were defeated by Alexander Maggs & Thando Longwe-Smit in the quarter-final in Monastir 6-3, 6-2.

Alexander Maggs with Thando Longwe-Smit were defeated by Billy Blaydes & Patrick Foley in the semi-final in Monastir 6-4, 6-2.

Billy Blaydes & Patrick Foley were defeated by Alexis Canter & Marcus Walters in the final in Monastir 5-7, 6-4, 10-8.

Stefan Cooper with Carles Rojas were defeated by Miguel Angel Machado & Pablo Perez Navarro in the first round in Martos 2-6, 7-6(5), 10-6.

Charlie Robertson with Preston Stearns were defeated by Robin Bertrand & John Echeverria in the semi-final in Martos 7-5, 6-2.

Mark Whitehouse with Clement Chidekh defeated Robin Bertrand & John Echeverria in the final in Martos 4-6, 6-2, 10-8.

Georgina Hays with Alice Ferlito were defeated by Juliana Giaccio & Lucia Llinares Domingo in the quarter-final in Madrid 4-6, 7-5, 10-5.

David Fox with Matic Dimic were defeated by Faith Sisic & Antonio Voljavic in the quarter-final in Kislejak 0-0 (RET).
