Playing styles and prediction

Since reaching the Cincinnati semi-finals, Zverev’s form has crumbled as the German has had a mixed season. Now Zverev needs to up his game and build some momentum as he looks to book his spot in the Nitto ATP Finals and join tennis’ elite for the final showdown in Turin.

Fearnley will need to be aggressive and consistent on return as the Brit will look to take the forehand early. Zverev is aiming to be proactive on serve while using depth to suffocate Fearnley’s baseline game. This will be a tough test for Fearnley with Zverev’s consistent quality expected to prevail in Austria.

Prediction: Zverev in straight sets.
