US Open 2017 | Johanna Konta Prize Money

By Ros Satar

  • Potential prize money for the British No. 1
  • She will look to advance past the fourth round at Flushing Meadows, having made her second Grand Slam semi-final at Wimbledon this year.
NEW YORK, USA – Johanna Konta will look to build on her great form in the Slams as she prepares for the US Open, where she has reached the fourth round twice in a row.

You cannot accuse Johanna Konta of not being consistent. Since a breakthrough year in 2016 where she reached the semi-final of a Grand Slam for the first time at the Australian Open, she backed that up ably this year with her second, this time at Wimbledon.

She has been to the fourth round twice in a row at the US Open, but of course expectations are that she can go a lot further.

How much could Johanna Konta earn for each round of the US Open

Winner $3.7m (£2.89m)
Runner-up £1.82m (£1.4m)
Semi-finalist $920k (£718.7k)
Quarter-finalist $470k (£367.2k)
Round 4 $253,625 (£198.1k)
Round 3 $144k (£122.5k)
Round 2 $86k (£67.2k)
Round 1 $50k (£39k)

Just going one round better that 2015 and 2016 could double her prize purse at this event, and should she advance to her first ever Slam final, she would be singing to the tune of £1.4 m as a runner up or a cool £2.89m)
