Playing Styles & Prediction
Boulter has continued to make some steady progress as she landed herself back in the top 50, while Tsurenko has had to battle with an elbow injury already this year, having withdrawn from the third round in Qatar, and perhaps sensibly opting to skip Dubai as a precaution.
That being said, the Ukrainian had a strong start to the season, where she reached the third rounds of both the Australian Open and Doha. Tsurenko has certainly had the measure of Boulter in their past encounters but in their las match (Indian Wells 2023) Boulter took Tsurenko the distance for the first time.
