Playing Styles & Prediction

Last year’s semi-finalist Navarro has had to battle her way into this spot, coming from behind in her quart-final to reel off 11 out of her next 13 games to book her spot.

Navarro has moved up rapidly through the ranks, having reached the Top 100 less than a year ago, and she is eyeing up the top 20.

Boulter is riding the crest of a wave at the moment, with four Top 30 wins this season, and this is by far her best performance at a tour level outside of the grass. As before, it is a great chance for her to measure herself against top 30 players, and whatever happens, she is opening doors for the rest of the season.

Prediction: Navarro in three sets.
