From one battle to another, Dart will face a battle to reach the quarter-finals when she squares off against Tauson. In the two times the pair have played, they have gone the distance with Tauson outlasting the Brit.
Dart last picked up back-to-back wins on the main draw in Wimbledon, although came through qualifying rounds on the US swing. Tauson comes in off the back of a strong showing in Hong`Kong 125K the week before.
Dart’s fighting spirit has got her through some touch scrapes this year, with emotions running high. She will face the Dane who also plays an aggressive game, but loves to come into the net, and she can expect to be burned by her drop shots and a strong forehand.
Dart’s vulnerable second serve can still be an issue for her, and she will need to tsay on top of her serves to stop the flow of wins to the Dane.
