Katie Boulter [Q] def. Ana Konjuh [6] 5-7 6-0 6-3
It was a quicker start for Ana Konjuh with an early break, pegged back straight away by Katie Boulter, who did well to stay with the Croatian for the first set, before eventually giving up a break at the end of the first set, leaving Konjuh to close it out, saving a break point along the way.
Konjuh did put Boulter under immediate pressure in the second set, but Boulter fended off a break point in the opening game of the second set, before powering past Konjuh without facing another break point to take the second set 6-0.
In fact, Boulter reeled off ten games in a row, jumping out to a 4-0 lead before Konjuh finally retrieved one of the serves, and settled the ship to stay present on the board, but the damage was done, as Boulter closed out a main draw win.

Playing Styles & Prediction
After a run of wins through qualifying and a round at the Melbourne Summer Set, the rest of Bondar’s results have been decidedly low key, [picking up just one win in qualifying in Doha and in Lyon.
Right now, Boulter is on a roll, and confidence will play into the Brit’s hands against the Hungarian, who has a solid serve and a decent forehand to boot,
Boulter is not without weapons in that department too, with a big serve, and prefers to search for her forehand as much as possible, but if it starts to misfire, it can leave her vulnerable.
She has the form and the momentum to win this, but this may be another one that goes the distance, now she is up against more experienced tour players.
Prediction: Boulter in three sets.
