Playing Styles & Prediction

Gracheva’s start to the year was stronger, reaching the quarter-final in Auckland but she has struggled with her form over the last year. For Burrage, it was a slow start to the year, but she has advanced further than her first visit to Linz four years ago.

Her 2023 saw her winning nine main draw wins and she reached the Top 100 but has slipped slightly. The Brit will be looking for a second Top 50 win.

Gracheva has powerful groundstrokes, with a capable backhand and an aggressive forehand, so she will look to impose her game on the Brit.Β Burrage has a decent backhand down the line and is consistent from the baseline, but she might need more as Gracheva is perfectly capable of hitting through her.

Prediction: Gracheva in two sets.
