Playing Styles & Prediction

The fact that Raducanu was able to get through the first few matches of the season was a positive for her to take away, after her 2023 season was constantly beset with injury issues. She may not have had too many wins this season, but this stage last year, she had some of her best and last wins of the 2023 season here, reaching the round of 16.

Raducanu has won just three main draw wins, but Masarova has been been floundering in qualifying since reaching the second round of the Australian Open, and of course her qualifying wins this week.

There will be chances for Raducanu to make her mark, but she might come in a little rusty.

Prediction: Raducanu in three sets.
