The pair are quite evenly matched, considering the gulf in places on the rankings between them.

However, Bouzkova claimed a British scalp delivering a real heartbreaker to Heather Watson in Birmingham, having to come from behind, so should not be under-estimated.

Playing Styles & Prediction

Dart closes out the last warm-up event ahead of Wimbledon with a couple of wins under her belt, but a tough opener against a real battler in Bouzova. The Czech bounced Watson out of Birmingham with a quiet and determined fightback, but her resurgence was cut short in the next round so is still a little short on matches.

Eastbourne has not been a happy hunting ground for Bouzkova who has yet to get past the first round, while Dart has also had her fair share of challenges on the green stuff this year.

Having a home crowd rooting for the opposition was no barrier for Bouzkova in Birmingham so starts the favourite to get past her opener for the first time, but as with her Birmingham encounter, she should prepare to work hard for it.

Prediction: Bouzkova in three sets.
