Harriet Dart is on a roll, but she will meet quite a formidable match in Anastasia Potapova who has proved to be very effecting in terms of break points won and saved. In oher aspects, Dart actually is more effective on return.Potapova has battled her way to this point, coming from a set down to reach the quarter-final here for the second time, and it is worth remembering that she is a former junior Wimbledon champion – so the green stuff is a surface she is quite comfortable with.
Potapova has been on a sharp rise and has reached 11 semi-finals in less than five years on the WTA tour, so is certainly not to be underestimated. Dart is the last Brit standing, but more importantly can use this grass court run to kick start a trend back up the rankings after such a breakthrough year in 2022.
Together with ahome crowd behind her, she has a good chance of making two straight semi-finals, but it will most likely take anther battle for her to get there.
