Playing Styles & Prediction

For Raducanu now, the focus is on building up her match sharpness, and more importantly staying intact. Her injury issues have set. Her back, and now begins the hard task of fighting her way back up the rankings, although she most likely will continue to benefit from wildcards into tournaments.

There was a lot of positives to take from her Australian swing – she was able to hang in and compete despite giving everyone a screw by withdrawing from a couple of exhibition matches prior to the Australian Open.

In Bouzkova, she will face a solid all-court player who moves very well on the court and is very capable off both wings.

Raducanu is still finding her way and having played less than Bouzkova, she clearly starts as the underdog.

Prediction: Bouzkova in straight sets.
