Playing styles and prediction

Duckworth has struggled with injuries this season and only won his first match of the season at Eastbourne, last week in qualifying. The Australian will be hoping to build some momentum at Wimbledon as he looks to get his year back on track and get a good run of results in the second half of the season.

Murray will be looking to test his hip out early and this is a match that the Brit doesn’t have to play his top level early on. Murray just needs to be consistent on return and produce a similar level on serve to the one in Stuttgart. Should the former champion do that then he should prevail comfortably providing he is back to a good level of physical fitness.

Prediction: Murray in straight sets.
