Playing Styles and Prediction

Bergs earned his way into the main draw of Wimbledon after winning the Ilkley challenger where he beat Jack Sock in the final. The Belgian has a big serve and talented mixture of power and variety to his game that can be hard to overcome.

Draper won their clash earlier in the year by serving well and being bold with his decision-making and that’s what the Brit will have to do again here. Both players have effortless power that they can dictate matches with and it’s all about who is smarter with their shot-selection. Draper’s experience at the main tour and physicality should give him the edge in this entertaining opening round match.

Prediction: Draper in four sets.
