ALGHERO, SARDINIA, ITALY – Lucy Shuker teamed up with Aniek van Koot and were the top seeds. The Brit/Dutch pair lifted the title.
Lucy Shuker teamed up again with Aniek van Koot and the pair were to top seeds at the event. As a result, they received a bye in the first round. Their quarter-final opponents were Angela Grosswiler & Wendi Schutte. The seeds dominated the match from the outset. Shuker & van Koot only lost three games as they eased through in straight sets 6-2, 6-1.
The semi-final pitched Shuker & van Koot against third seeds Katharina Kruger & Britta Wend. The Germans stayed with the top seeds in the first set, and it looked to be heading to a tiebreak. However, the top seeds managed to break serve right at the end of the set to move ahead. The second set was dominated by Shuker & van Koot and they moved into the final in straight sets 7-5, 6-2.
In the final the Brit/Dutch pair were against the second seeds Pauline Deroulede & Emanuelle Morch. The French pair tried to stay with Shuker & van Koot in the first set, and did trouble the Brit/Dutch pair at the start. However, Shuker & van Koot soon broke serve and moved ahead. The second set was dominated by the top seeds. Shuker & van Koot lifted the title in straight sets 6-3, 6-2. Shuker has now won five doubles titles with van Koot, and this was her third in Sardinia.

Dahnon Ward was defeated by Frederic Cattaneo in the first round 7-6(1), 6-1.
Ben Bartram was defeated by Gordon Reid in the quarter-final 6-1, 6-1.
Gordon Reid was defeated by Martin De la Puente in the semi-final 3-6, 6-3, 6-3.
Dahnon Ward with Adam Berdichevsky were defeated by Gordon Reid & Martin De la Puente in the first round 6-1, 6-2.
Ben Bartram with Daisuke Arai were defeated by Joachim Gerard & Maikel Scheffers in the first round 0-0 (RET).
Gordon Reid with Martin De la Puente were defeated by Frederic Cattaneo & Stephane Houdet in the semi-final 5-7, 6-4, 6-4.
