Andrew Penney partnered with Jakub Bukala and were the top seeds. As a result the pair had a bye in the first round. The quarter-final saw the Brit/Pole against Adam Kinowski & Jerzy Kulik. The top seeds had very little trouble with the Polish pair and dominated from the outset. Penney & Bukala eased through into the next round dropping only one game 6-1, 6-0.

The semi-final saw the Brit/Pole against fourth seeds Tadeusz Kruszelnicki & Steffen Sommrfeld. The Pole/German pair stayed with the top seeds at the start, before Penney & Bukala broke serve to take the lead. The second set was even closer as the fourth seeds went toe-to-toe. Eventually, the top seeds secured the vital break of serve and moved in to the final 6-4, 7-5.

In the final the top seeds were to play the third seeds, Anthony Dittmar & Christophe Wilke. However, the Germans didn’t take to the court and handed the top seeds a walkover. Not the way the Brit/Pole would have wanted to take the title but they claimed the title 0-0 (RET).

Women’s Doubles

Ruby Bishop teamed up with Zoe Maras and were the top seeds. In the first round, they were against Ellie Robertson & Iryna Nizautsova. The top seeds eased through, dominating from the outset. Bishop & Maras didn’t drop a game and moved into the next round 6-0, 6-0.

The final saw them against Ladislava Porizkova & Zanete Vasaraudze-Gaillite. The Czech/Latvian found the top seeds too strong in the first set, as Bishop & Maras dominated and took the lead. The second set was a little closer, but eventually, the top seeds broke serve and claimed the title 6-2, 6-3.
