BIOT, FRANCE – Andy Lapthorne was the top seed in the Quad doubles. The Brit lifted the title dropping only one set, which was in the final.
Andy Lapthorne entered the French Riviera Open doubles with Niels Vink and the pair were the top seeds. As a result, they received a bye in the first round. The quarter-final saw Lapthorne & Vink against Guy Sasson & Shraga Weinburg. The Israeli pair stayed toe to toe with the Brit/Dutch pair and forced a tiebreak in the first set. In the breaker the top seeds edged through and took the lead. The second set was more of the same, as the top seeds edged through another tiebreak to move into the next round 7-6(5), 7-6(5).
In the semi-final Lapthorne & Vinks were against unseeded pair Andrew Bogdanov & Mitch McIntyre. The American/Canadian were outplayed from the start. The top seeds barely put a foot wrong as they dominated Bogdanov & McIntyre. The top seeds eased through in straight sets 6-1, 6-1.
The final saw Lapthorne & Vinks against Heath Davidson & Ahmet Kaplan. The Australian/Turkish pair stayed with the top seeds in the first set and forced a tiebreak. In the breaker Davidson & Kaplan dominated and took the lead. The second set saw Lapthorne & Vinks re-group and dominate to level up the match. The match tiebreak was very close. Eventually, the top seeds broke through and lifted the title 6-7(1), 6-2, 12-10.

Dahnon Ward was defeated by Nicolas Charrier in the first round 4-6, 7-6(5), 7-6(5).
Gregory Slade was defeated by Ahmet Kaplan in the second round 6-2, 6-2.
Ben Bartram was defeated by Martin De La Puente in the second round 6-1, 6-1.
Ben Bartram & Dahnon Ward were defeated by Mohammad Yusshazwan Bin Yusuf & Abu Samah Borhan in the first round 2-6, 6-2, 10-8.
Andy Lapthorne was defeated by Ahmet Kaplan in the quarter-final 6-2, 3-1 (RET).
Gordon Reid was defeated by Tokito Oda in the semi-final 6-3, 6-2.
Alfie Hewett was defeated by Tokito Oda in the final 7-5, 6-3.
