ATH, BELGIUM – Gregory Slade entered the singles and doubles. The Brit made the final of the singles and took the title in the doubles.

Gregory Slade entered the Quads event in Belgium and was the third seed in the singles and top seed in the doubles. In the quarter-final Slade drew Nathan Freeman. Slade outclassed his fellow Brit in the match. The seed broke early in the first set, and didn’t let Freeman back into the match. The seed dropped only one game en route to the semi-final 6-1, 6-0.
In the semi-final Slade was against Italian Mario Naselli. The Italian was more of a test than the previous round. Naselli stayed with the seed in the first set, before the Brit managed to break serve and get the lead. The second set was a little closer, but once again Slade managed to get the break and book a spot in the final 6-3, 6-4.
The final saw Slade against the top seed Tomas Masaryk. The Slovakian and Brit went toe to toe in the first set and forced a tiebreak. The top seed managed to take the breaker and the lead. The second set saw Masaryk dominate Slade and lift the title in straight sets 7-6, 6-0.
Quads Doubles
Slade & Masaryk teamed up and were the top seeds. As a result had a bye in the quarter-final. The semi-final saw the Brit/Slovak against Kevin Girard & Naselli. The French/Italian pairing were no match for the top seeds. Slade & Masaryk dominated from the start. Girard & Nasalli managed to hold serve for only one game. The top seeds secured a spot in the final 6-1, 6-0.
In the final the Brit/Slovak were against the second seeds Thomas Huguenin & Yoshi Saadon. The French/Israeli pair were no match for the top seeds. Slade & Masaryk dominated from the start as Huguenin & Saadon struggled to get into the match. The top seeds secured the title in straight sets 6-1, 6-0.
Wheelchair Round Up
Louisa Medora was defeated by Els Verhoeven in the quarter-final in Ath 6-1, 6-0.
Louisa Medora with Zoe Maras were defeated by Guo Luoyao & Mariksa Venter in the quarter-final in Ath 6-0, 6-0.
Ruby Bishop was defeated by Jinte Bos in the first round in Bucharest 0-0 (RET).
Mariam Ayeni was defeated by Zoya Chavdarova in the first round in Bucharest 6-2, 6-0.
Dermot Bailey was defeated by Geoffrey Jaslak in the quarter-final in Bucharest 6-7, 6-1, 6-4.
Abbie Breakwell was defeated by Maayan Zikri in the semi-final 6-3, 6-7, 6-0.
Dahnon Ward was defeated by Ben Bartram in the final in Bucharest 6-4, 5-7, 6-0.
Dermot Bailey with Enrique Siscar Meseguer defeated Ben Bartram & Dahnon Ward in the final in Bucharest 6-4, 6-3.
