FLUSHING MEADOWS, NEW YORK, USA – Alfie Hewett & Gordon Reid made the doubles final at the last grand slam of the year. The Brits were the top seeds.

Alfie Hewett & Gordon Reid were the top seeds in the doubles. In the first round the Brits were against Americans Charlie Cooper & Connor Stroud. The Brits dominated the match from the outset. Hewett & Reid lost only one game the whole match and moved into the next round 6-0, 6-1.

The semi-final saw the Brits against Stephane Houdet & Takuya Miki. The French/Japanese pair were no match for Hewett & Reid, who once again dominated from the start. The first set saw Houdet & Miki win two games, before the top seeds strolled through the rest of the match and moved into the final 6-2, 6-0.

In the final the Brits were against unseeded pair Gustavo Fernandez & Tokito Oda. The Argentine/Japanese pair dominated the first set, as Hewett & Reid struggled to get into the match. The second set, though, saw the top seeds re-group and dominate to level up the match. The final set was a match tie break. This was close at the start, before Fernandez & Oda edged ahead and the Brits could not get back on terms and the title went to their opponents 6-1, 2-6, 10-6.

Lucy Shuker with Jiske Griffioen were defeated by Xiaohi Li & Ziying Wang in the semi-final at the US Open 6-4, 6-2.

Lucy Shuker was defeated by Diede De Groot in the first round at the US Open 6-3, 6-0.

Gordon Reid was defeated by Martin De La Puente in the quarter-final at the US Open 6-2, 6-3.

Alfie Hewett was defeated by Gustavo Fernandez in the semi-final at the US Open 6-7(4), 6-1, 7-5.

Gregory Slade was defeated by Niels Vink in the quarter-final at the US Open 6-1, 7-5.

Andy Lapthorne was defeated by Sam Schroder in the semi-final at the US Open 6-1, 6-0.

Andy Lapthorne with David Wagner were defeated by Francisco Cayulef & Gonzalo Lazarte in the first round at the US Open 6-3, 5-7, 12-10.

Gregory Slade with Jin Woodman were defeated by Guy Sasson & Niels Vink in the semi-final at the US Open 6-3, 6-0.

Ruben Harris was defeated by Maximillian Taucher in the semi-final at the US Open 6-0, 7-6(5).

Lucas John De Gouveia was defeated by Alexander Lantermann in the semi-final at the US Open 6-1, 6-1.

Lucas John De Gouveia with Ryota Kawada were defeated by Ruben Harris & Maximillian Taucher in the first round at the US Open 6-2, 6-1.

Ruben Harris with Maximillian Taucher defeated Luiz Calixto & Tomas Majetic in the final at the US Open 6-3, 6-3.

Ellen Tribley was defeated by Luna Gryp in the first round at the US Open 6-0, 6-2.

Ellen Tribley with Emma Gjerseth were defeated by Lucy Heald & Ela Porges in the first round at the US Open 7-6(6), 6-4.
