Playing Styles & Prediction
Boulter has fought hard to keep herself in the top 4-, since winning her biggest title to date in San Diego, and then backing that up with defending her Nottingham title. Her best run in the autumn hard court swing was a third round in Toronto.
Sasnovich’s fortunes have fallen a little and had to qualify for her spot in the main draw – so she comes n maybe a little more match ready, but she has not won any hard court main draw matches this season.
Boulter will look to blow her off the court with her serve and forehand, but we can expect to see more baseline play than canny use of angles, so if Boulter can come forward she can catch Sasnovich out.
