Paire has had a very poor season this year with the Frenchman failing to qualify for ATP events let alone win matches. This could be one of the last times we see Paire on the ATP tour for a while now as the Frenchman is ranked at 164 in the world and will look to boost his ranking in New York.
Norrie will look to use his variety and power to extract unforced errors from Paire’s game while the Frenchman will look to be effective and efficient from the net. Should Norrie be consistent and stick to his gameplan then he should be too strong for Paire with the Frenchman needing a ridiculous improvement in form to make this match competitive.
