Playing styles and prediction
It’s been a breakthrough season for Cerundolo having reached his first Masters 1000 semi-final in Miami which was followed by winning the title in Bastad. Now the Argentinian aims to breakthrough at grand slam level and find more consistency as he continues his development on the tour.
Murray will look to be aggressive and test Cerundolo’s defensive skillset and transitional play. The Brit will need to be consistent on serve and construct effective points otherwise the Argentinian is clinical enough to punish Murray’s mistakes. If Murray is fully-fit and can produce a solid match then he should have enough to win this match but it all depends on which Murray turns up.
