British Interest: Cameron Norrie, Dan Evans

2021 Champion: Rafael Nadal

With no Rafael Nadal on hand, will Stefanos Tsitsipas mount another extraordinary run on clay. Last year he started his European clay campaign with winning his maiden Masters 1000 title in Monte Carlo and he fell to absent champion Nadal the following week in Barcelona. Tsitsipas went on to reach win the Lyon final before making his maiden Slam final last year in Roland Garros.
