Cerundolo has struggled for victories over this clay court season although he will be encouraged by his performances in Lyon. The Argentinian’s gritty game style could though prove suitable for best of five set tennis.
Evans will look to be aggressive from the start of the match and test Cerundolo’s confidence early on. The Brit’s will need to use his backhand to dictate the points with the Argentinian’s looking to extend the rallies and make Evans uncomfortable from the back of the court.
