LONDON, ENGLAND – Barbora Krejcikova returned to the world’s top ten after claiming her second Grand Slam title at Wimbledon.
ATP Rankings and Brits Top 10
Lorenzo Musetti highlights the post-Wimbledon ATP rankings as he reached his first Grand Slam semi-final at SW19. The Italian followed up his run to the final at Queen’s Club with a fantastic semi-final result at Wimbledon which included a five set win over Taylor Fritz. As a result Musetti is back inside the world’s top 20 at the world, climbing up nine places to 16 in the world.
The other semi-finalists at Wimbledon remain where they are with Carlos Alcaraz claiming a second consecutive Wimbledon title. The Spaniard stays at three in the world as he is now 330 points behind finalist Novak Djokovic in the rankings. The final semi-finalist was Daniil Medvedev and he stays at five in the world after reaching a second consecutive Wimbledon semi-final.
In other noticeable ranking moves, Alex De Minaur’s run to the quarter-finals ensures he climbs up three places to six in the world although that is little consolation to the Australian as he faces a race against time to be fit for the Olympics. A good run to the fourth round for Arthur Fils saw the Frenchman move up six places to 28 in the world while Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard climbed up 14 places to 44 in the world after also reaching the last 16.
As for the Brits, Jack Draper is up two places to 26 in the world as he tightens his grip on the British number one ranking. Andy Murray’s inevitable retirement means he is down ten places to 123 in the world. While Jacob Fearnley’s maiden Wimbledon win has been rewarded with a 46 place rise to 231 in the world.

WTA Rankings and Brits Top 10
The main headline of the rankings report is Barbora Krejcikova winning her second Grand Slam singles title at Wimbledon. The Czech Republican completed a dream fortnight by defeating Jasmine Paolini in three sets to claim her maiden Wimbledon title. As a result, Krejcikova has returned to the world’s top ten climbing up 22 places to ten in the world. Meanwhile it was also a successful tournament for Paolini who reached her second consecutive Grand Slam final and is now a top five player as a result.
In other noticeable ranking rises, Donna Vekic climbed up 16 places to 21 in the world after the Croatian’s incredible run to the semi-finals. There was also an 11 place rise for qualifier Lulu Sun as the New Zealander is now at 50 in the world after her extremely impressive run to the quarter-finals. While Paula Badosa’s fourth round showing at Wimbledon means the Spaniard climbs up 28 places to 65 in the world.
As for falls down the rankings, defending champion Marketa Vondrousova is down 12 places to 18 in the world after her disastrous first round exit to Jessica Bouzas Maneiro. Last year’s finalist Ons Jabeur is down six places to 16 in the world after her third round elimination while Lesia Tsurenko went down 31 places to 90 in the world.
In terms of British interest it was a very successful tournament for former US Open champion Emma Raducanu who reached the second week of Wimbledon for the second time in her career and as a result climbed up 41 places to 94 in the world. There was also a significant rise for Harriet Dart after the Brit climbed up 16 places to 84 in the world while Sonay Kartal’s incredible journey from qualifying to the third round was rewarded with a 105 place rise to 193 in the world.
