Playing styles and prediction

Tsitsipas had an encouraging end to the season as he showed that he can compete with the likes of Novak Djokovic on his day. However Tsitsipas failed to show consistent quality at the Grand Slams last season and that is something the Greek will be determined to do next season as he aims to win his maiden Grand Slam title in 2023.

Norrie will look to create the angles and force Tsitsipas into uncomfortable positions in the court as well as targeting the Greek’s forehand. Tsitsipas will look to produce returning consistency and take advantage of his serve as he looks to dictate the tempo of the match. This should be a good contest and a good test of Norrie’s game heading into the start of the new season against an opponent he will need to beat on multiple occasions if he is to go deep at tournaments next season.

Prediction: Norrie in three sets.
