Eliz Maloney kicked off week 8 of the British tour taking on Sophia Hurrion. Maloney was the second seed in the indoor event. The second seed dominated the entire match as Hurrion struggled to get any games on the board. Maloney moved into the next round easily in straight sets 6-1, 6-1.

In the quarter-final  Maloney was up against Eleanor Nobbs. The second seed was one again in dominating form as Nobbs found the game of Maloney tricky. The seed raced through the first set for loss of only one game. In the second set Nobbs fought harder and managed more games. However, Maloney was not to be stopped and continued to dominate, moving into the semi-final 6-1, 6-2.

The semi-final saw the second seed against third seed Sonay Kartal. The third seed dominated the first set as Maloney struggled with her game. However, in the next set Maloney fought back and broke to level up the match. As the format is to play a final set match tiebreak it was a race to 10 points. The breaker was tight, but eventually Maloney edged ahead to book a final spot 1-6, 6-4, 10-7.

In the final Maloney was against the top seed Emily Appleton. The top seed started better and like Kartal previously managed to break the second seed serve. However, Maloney re-grouped and fought back to level up the match. Another match tiebreak followed to decide the title, once again the second seed edged ahead and lifted the trophy 3-6, 6-2, 10-7.

In the quarter-final Matusevich was against Adam Jones. The top seed had an easier match than the first round as Jones was not able to do anything with the game of Matusevich. Jones was soon broken and was unable to fight back, so Matusevich moved into the semi-final 6-2, 6-0.

The semi-final pitched the top seed against the fourth seed Sean Hodkin. Matusevich started well and broke Hodkin to get the lead. However, in the second set Hodkin fought back, forcing a tiebreak. The fourth seed took the lead n the tiebreak and levelled up the match. The match tiebreak was tight as Hodkin & Matusevich each fought hard to get the win. Eventually the top seed edged ahead and moved into the final 6-4, 6-7(6), 10-7.
