Sonay Kartal entered the ITF event in Nottingham and was eighth seed. The young Brit was looking for her third title at this level. Kartal drew fellow Brit and wild care Jasmine Conway. Conway stayed toe to toe with Kartal in the first set and forced a tiebreak. In the breaker Conway got the mini break and stayed ahead to take the lead.

Kartal re-grouped in the second set, and stepped up her game. The young Brit was able to break the serve of Conway and get into the lead. The final set was very much the same, with Kartal not taking her foot off the gas and again breaking to seal the win 6-7(4), 6-3, 6-3.

In the second round the Brit was against Ayla Aksu. The Turk was little trouble for Kartal who dominated the first set, losing only one game. The second set was a little closer, but the Brit still managed to ease through without Aksu really troubling her. Kartal moved into the next round in straight sets 6-1, 6-2.

The quarter-final saw the Brit against Alice Robbe. The Frenchwomen got off to the better start, and managed to break the serve of Kartal and took the lead. However, in the next set the Brit fought back, breaking Robbe to level up the match. Kartal then dominated the final set, not losing a single game, to move in to the semi-final 4-6, 7-5, 6-0.

In the semi-final the Brit was against seventh seed Fanni Stollar. The Hungarian was outplayed and outclassed by Kartal. The Brit dominated from start to finish. Kartal only lost one game in the first set, and with the second set heading the same way Stollar retired from the match, sending the Brit through 6-1, 4-1 (RET).

The final saw the Brit against second seed Danielle Lao. Although the higher ranked player, the American was unable to stay with the pace of Kartal. The Brit dominated as the American struggled to get into the match. Once again the Brit only lost one game all match. Kartal claimed the title in straight sets 6-1, 6-0.

Julian Cash & Henry Patten teamed up and were the third seeds. In the first round the Brits were against Patrick Foley & Luis Humberto Lopez. The Brit/Mexican were no match for the seeds who dominated the match from start to finish. Cash & Patten lost two games all match and progressed to the quarter-final 6-1, 6-1.

The quarter-final saw Cash & Patten against Edan Leshem & Leandro Riedi. The Brits dominated the match from the outset again. The Israeli/Swiss partnership did manage an extra game against the seeds, however it was Cash & Patten that eased through to the semi-final 6-1, 6-2.

In the semi-final the seeds were against second seeds Aidan McHugh & Patrik Niklas-Salminen. Cash & Patten dominated the first set and took the lead. The second set was closer as the Brit/Fin managed to hold serve more. In the end though, the third seeds secured the vital break of serve and moved into the final 6-1, 6-4.

The final was an all British affair, as Cash & Patten were against Charles Broom & Jan Choinski. The first set was very tight, as neither pair could establish a break. In the ensuing tiebreak the third seeds edged ahead to take the lead. The second set was much easier for Cash & Patten as they dominated and lifted the trophy 7-6(5), 6-2.
