Dan Cox entered the ITF event in Nottingham and was the fourth seed. In the first round the Brit drew fellow compatriot Anton Matusevich. Cox and Matusevich went toe to toe at the start of the first set, before the fourth seed broke serve and took the lead. The second set was more of the same, as Cox again broke serve and took the match to move into the next round 6-3, 6-3.

The second round saw Cox against another Brit, this time Patrick Brady. The first set went the same as the first round, with the fourth seed breaking to take the lead. The second set, however, was much closer. Brady managed to stay with Cox more, but eventually, the seed broke and took the match in straight sets 6-3, 6-4.

In the quarter-final Cox was against fifth seed Lucas Poullain. The Frenchman stayed with the fourth seed in the first set, forcing a tiebreak. In the breaker Poullain edged ahead and took the lead. Cox re-grouped in the second set and managed to break serve to level up the match. The final set saw both players stay close, before eventually the Brit broke and took the match 6-7(4), 6-4, 6-4.

The semi-final saw the Brit against the top seed Clement Chidekh. Cox dominated the first set as the Frenchman struggled to find his game. However, in the second set the top seed fought back and dominated to level up the match. The final set saw both players toe to toe, before Cox secured the break of serve and took the win to move into the final 6-2, 2-6, 6-4.

In the final Cox was against third seed Jules Marie. The Frenchman stayed with the Brit at the start of the first set, before managing to break serve and take the lead. The second set was more of the same, as Marie and Cox went toe to toe at the start. Eventually, though, the third seed got the break of serve and took the title 6-3, 6-3.
