NOTTINGHAM, UK – Arthur Fery was unseeded at the ITF event, the Brit claimed the singles title. Alastair Gray & Stuart Parker lifted the doubles.

Arthur Fery entered the ITF event and was unseeded. In the first round Fery was against the top seed Alastair Gray. The first set was very close, with both Fery & Gray holding serve. Neither gave an inch and a tiebreak ensued. Fery dominated the breaker and took the lead. The second set saw the unseeded Brit secure the break of serve and take a place in the next round 7-6(2), 6-3.
The second round saw Fery against wildcard Finn Bass. The unseeded Brit totally dominated Bass from the outset. The wildcard Brit struggled to hold serve, as Fery was unstoppable. Bass could not get into the match against Fery, and the unseeded Brit strolled through into the next round 6-0, 6-1.
In the quarter-final Fery was against the seventh seed Stuart Parker. In the first set the unseeded Brit went toe to toe with Parker and forced a tiebreak. Parker dominated the breaker and took the lead. The second set again saw both Fery & Parker go toe to toe. Another tiebreak ensued, this time Fery dominated and levelled up the match. The final set was also close, and went to a breaker. Fery edged through to book a spot in the semi-final 6-7(3), 7-6(2), 7-6(4).
The semi-final saw Fery against fourth seed Tristan Skoolkate. The Australian and Brit stayed with each other in the first set, and forced a tiebreak. In the breaker Fery edged ahead and took the lead. The second set saw the Brit break the serve of the Australian and book a spot in the final 7-6(4), 6-3.
In the final Fery was against the sixth seed Daniel Cox. The first set was tight, but the unseeded Brit managed to break serve right at the end to take the lead. The second set saw the seed re-group and dominate to level up the match. The final set saw both Brits going toe to toe, before Fery finally got the break of serve and lifted the trophy 7-5, 2-6, 7-5.
Doubles
In the doubles Alastair Gray & Stuart Parker were an unseeded wildcard pair, in the first round the Brits were against the second seeds Mark Whitehouse & Luca Castelnuovo. The Brits secured a vital break of serve in the first set. Whitehouse & Castelnuovo were unable to break back meaning Gray & Parker took the lead. The second set was dominated by the Brits who strolled through into the quarter-final 6-3, 6-1.
The quarter-final saw Gray & Parker against Oscar Weightman & Harry Wendelken. The wildcard pair fought hard and broke serve to take the lead. The second set saw Weightman & Wendelken try to fight back, however, the wildcard pairing again broke serve and took the match in straight sets 6-3, 6-4.
In the semi-final Gray & Parker were against Millen Hurrion & Toby Samuel. Gray & Parker broke to take the first set. Hurrion & Samuel regrouped in the second set, breaking Gray & Parker to level up the match. In the match tiebreak Gray & Parker edged ahead and took the title 6-3, 3-6, 10-6.
