NOTTINGHAM, UK – Alastair Gray entered the ITF event and was the top seed. The Brit dropped two sets en route. Charles Broom & Luke Johnson claimed the doubles title dropping one set.

Alastair Gray entered the ITF event and was the top seed. The Brit drew Mark Whitehouse in the first round. Whitehouse stayed with Gray at the start, eventually though, the top seed secured the vital break of serve and took the lead. The second set saw Gray dominate Whitehouse, who struggled to hold serve. Gray moved into the second round in straight sets 6-4, 6-2.

In the second round the top seed was against Lui Maxted. The young Brit was dominated by Gray in the first set, as Maxted struggled to get into the match. However, the second set was much better. Maxted stayed with Gray and fought hard to try to level the match. Ultimately, the top seed secured the vital break of serve to move into the next round 6-2, 7-5.

The quarter-final saw Gray against sixth seed Stuart Parker. The first set was all one way traffic as the top seed broke at will to take the lead. The second set was a little closer as Parker fought to hold serve. Eventually, though, the top seed secured the breakthrough needed and moved into the semi-final 6-1, 6-3.

In the semi-final Gray was against Max Basing. The 19 year old was dominated by the top seed in the first set, as Gray broke freely and took the set. However, the second set saw Basing break the serve of Gray and managed to level up the match. The final set saw Gray re-group and totally dominate to move into the final 6-2, 3-6, 6-0.

The final saw Gray against seventh seed Dan Cox. The seventh seed got the jump on Gray and broke serve early in the first set to take the lead. Gray however, managed to re-group and fight back, breaking serve to level up the match. The final set was very close, and looked to be heading to a tiebreak. Gray managed to secure the vital break of serve right at the end to take the title 3-6, 6-4, 7-5.

Doubles

Charles Broom & Luke Johnson teamed up and were the top seeds. In the first round they were against Oscar Weightman & Harry Wendelken. The first set was very close as both pairs stayed toe to toe. However, eventually Broom & Johnson broke serve to take the lead. The second set saw the top seeds break early and the top seeds moved into the next round 7-5, 6-3.

The quarter-final saw the top seeds against Finn Bass & Scott Duncan. Broom & Johnson stayed with Bass & Duncan and the set looked to be heading to a tiebreak. However the unseeded Brits managed to break serve and take the lead. The top seeds re-grouped and broke serve in the second set to level up the match. The match tiebreak was very close, but eventually the top seeds secured the break to claim the win 5-7, 6-3, 10-8.

In the semi-final the top seeds were against Dan Cox & Marcus Willis. The first set saw both pairs stay close together, eventually, though Broom & Johnson broke serve to take the lead. The second set saw the top seeds dominate and progress to the final 6-4, 6-1.

The final saw the top seeds against Ben Jones & Joe Tyler. The Broom & Johnson dominated the first set, as the unseeded pair struggled to get into the match. The second set was very much closer, as the top seeds were forced to a tiebreak. In the tiebreak the top seeds secured the break and took the match 6-1, 7-6(4).

Brandon Murphy was defeated by Lui Maxted in the first round 6-4, 3-6, 6-1.

George Houghton was defeated by Oscar Weightman in the first round 6-1, 6-1.

Arthur Fery was defeated by Stuart Parker in the first round 7-6(4), 6-1.

Charles Broom was defeated by Harry Wendelken in the first round 6-4, 5-7, 6-4.

Ben Jones was defeated by Max Basing in the first round 6-4, 6-3.

Dan Little was defeated by Tristan Schoolkate in the first round 2-6, 6-3, 7-5.

Kyran Magimay was defeated by Finn Murgett in the first round 6-3, 6-2.

Tom Hands was defeated by Billy Blaydes in the first round 7-5, 6-4.

Sean Hodkin was defeated by Dan Cox in the first round 6-3, 6-4.

Toby Martin was defeated by Giles Hussey in the first round 6-4, 7-6(6).

James Story was defeated by Toby Samuel in the first round 6-2, 6-3.

Oscar Weightman was defeated by Stuart Parker in the second round 6-3, 6-3.

Harry Wendelken was defeated by Finn Bass in the second round 6-4, 6-4.

Finn Murgett was defeated by Tristan Schoolkate in the second round 7-5, 6-2.

Billy Blaydes was defeated by Rio Noguchi in the second round 6-2, 6-4.

Giles Hussey was defeated by Dan Cox in the second round 6-1, 7-5.

Toby Samuel was defeated by Patrick Brady in the second round 7-5, 6-3.

Finn Bass was defeated by Max Basing in the quarter-final 7-6(4), 4-6, 6-3.

Patrick Brady was defeated by Dan Cox in the quarter-final 7-5, 6-2.

Jonathan Binding & George Houghton were defeated by Finn Bass & Scott Duncan in the first round 6-4, 4-6, 11-9.

Ryan Golesworthy & James MacKinley were defeated by Ben Jones & Joe Tyler in the first round 3-6, 6-3, 10-8.

Ying Hou with Rio Noguchi were defeated by Giles Hussey & Dan Little in the first round 6-2, 6-4.

Toby Samuel & James Story were defeated by Jack Findel-Hawkins & Mark Whitehouse in the first round 6-4, 6-4.

Billy Blaydes & Patrick Brady were defeated by Arthur Fery & Tristan Schoolkate in the first round 6-3, 6-4.

Lui Maxted & Finn Murgett were defeated by Dan Cox & Marcus Willis in the quarter-final 6-3, 7-6(4).

Arthur Fery with Tristan Schoolkate were defeated by Ben Jones & Joe Tyler in the semi-final 6-3, 7-6(5).
