FOXHILLS, CHERTSEY, UK – Freya Christie & Ali Collins teamed up for the doubles at the ITF. The Brits were the second seeds and took the title. In the singles, Alice Gillan & Naiktha Bains made the quarter-finals.

Freya Christie & Ali Collins teamed up for the ITF event held at Foxhills. The Brits were the second seeds. In the first round Christie & Collins were drawn against Soumeya Anane & Humera Baharmus. The second seeds dominated from the outset. Christie and Collins only lost one game to progress to the quarter-final 6-0, 6-1.

The quarter-final saw Christie & Collins against Nagi Hanatani & Naho Sato. The Japanese pair got the better start and broke serve of the top seeds to take the lead. In the second set the Brits fought back and dominated the Japanese pair to level up the match. In the ensuing match tiebreak the Brits edged ahead and took the match 3-6, 6-0, 10-8.

In the semi-final the second seeds were against Haruna Arakawa & Jasmijn Gimbrere. The Brits dominated the first set and took the lead. The second set saw the Japanese/Dutch pairing stayed with the Brits early on, however the Brits took the break and moved into the final 6-1, 6-3.

The final saw the second seeds against the top seeds Naiktha Bains & Maia Lumsden. The second seeds broke early in the first set and took the lead. Bains & Lumsden were unable to break back and the set was gone. The second set followed the same pattern, with the top seeds unable to get back into the match. Christie & Collins took the title 6-3, 6-3.

Alicia Dudeney & Grace Piper were defeated by Lauryn John-Baptiste & Alice Robbe in the first round 6-2, 6-3.

Freya Davies & Holly Hutchinson were defeated by Katarina Jokic & Kyoka Okamura in the first round 7-5, 6-3.

Esther Adeshina & Holly Staff were defeated by Lauren Proctor & Ramu Ueda in the first round 6-3, 7-6(2).

Eliz Maloney & Anna Popescu were defeated by Haruna Arakawa & Jasmijn Gimbrere in the first round 6-2m 6-3.

Lauren John-Baptiste with Alice Robbe were defeated by Naiktha Bains & Maia Lumsden in the quarter-final 6-4, 6-7(1), 10-5.

Alicia Dudeney was defeated by Jasmine Conway in the first round 3-6, 6-4, 7-5.

Anna Brogan was defeated by Maia Lumsden in the first round 7-6(5), 6-4.

Indianna Spink was defeated by Nagi Hanatani in the first round 6-3, 4-6, 6-1.

Lauryn John-Baptiste was defeated by Katarina Stresnakova in the first round 5-7, 6-2, 6-0.

Emma Wilson was defeated by Tamira Paszek in the first round 7-5, 6-1.

Freya Christie was defeated by Naiktha Bains in the first round 6-3, 1-6, 7-5.

Eliz Maloney was defeated by Naiktha Bains in the second round 6-3, 6-3.

Maia Lumsden was defeated by Kyoka Okamura in the second round 6-1, 6-1.

Jasmine Conway was defeated by Katarina Jokic in the second round 7-6(5), 7-6(1).

Alice Gillan was defeated by Joanna Garland in the quarter-final 4-6, 6-0, 6-3.

Naiktha Bains was defeated by Tamira Paszek in the quarter-final 1-6, 6-4, 6-0.
