In the second round Pinnington-Jones was against eighth seed Henry Searle. The unseeded Brit dominated the first set and took the lead. The second set was much closer, as Searle stayed with Pinnington-Jones and looked to be forcing a tiebreak. However, just as it looked to be heading that way, the unseeded Brit broke serve and moved into the next round 6-2, 7-5.

The quarter-final saw Pinnington-Jones against Johannus Monday. The first set was fairly close, as both Brits battled hard. Eventually, Pinnington-Jones got the break of serve and took the lead. The second set was easier for Pinnington-Jones who dominated and moved into the next round 6-4, 6-2.

In the semi-final the Brit was against the third seed Blake Mott. The Australian was no match for the Brit who dominated from the outset. The final saw the Brit against American qualifier Murphy Cassone. The American was no match for Pinnington-Jones in the first set. The Brit didn’t drop a game to move into the lead. The second set was much closer, as Cassone started to find his range and forced a tiebreak. In the breaker, Pinnington-Jones eased through and took the match in straight sets 6-0, 7-6(3).

The quarter-final saw the second seeds against James Beaven & Felix Mischker. The seeds dominated the match from the outset. Davis & Summers lost only one game in the first set to take the lead. Beaven & Mischker were unable to fight back in the second set. The seeds eased through in straight sets 6-1, 6-2.

In the semi-final Davis & Summers were against Ewen Lumsden & James Story. The seeds broke early in the first set to take the lead. Lumsden & Story struggled to stay with the seeds. The second set saw Davis & Summers dominate and once again, they moved into the next round in straight sets 6-3, 6-2.

The final saw the Brits against fourth seeds Masamichi Imamura & Naoki Tajima. The Japanese pair got the better start and broke the serve of the Brits to take the lead. The second set saw Davis & Summers re-group and break serve to level up the match. The final set was a match tiebreak. This was very close.
