Petit-Bourg, Guadaloupe – Emily Appleton & Helene Scholsen entered the ITF event in Guadaloupe and progressed to the semi-final before being defeated by the top seeds.

Emily Appleton teamed up with Helene Scholsen and entered the ITF event in Guadaloupe. The unseeded pair drew Jessica HoRasheeda McAdoo in the first round. The American pairing were tricky in the first set, and it took until the very end for the Brit/Belgian to break and take the lead.

The second set saw the Americans dominate with Appleton & Scholsen struggling to hold serve. Ho & McAdoo barely put a foot wrong and levelled up the match. In the match tiebreak that followed it was the Brit/Belgian that edged it to move into the quarter-finals 7-5, 2-6, 10-8.

In the quarter-final the Brit/Belgian were against Sarah-Rebecca Sekulic & Shelby Talcott. Appleton & Scholsen were once again pushed hard in the first set, but ultimately secured the break and the lead. In the second set the German/American pairing were unable to prevent Appleton & Scholsen breaking and moving to the semi-final 7-5, 6-3.

The semi-final saw the Brit/Belgian pair against the top seeds Quinn GleasonLuisa Stefani. It was the non seeds that actually got off to the better start and managed to break Gleason & Stefani. Appleton & Scholsen held on to take the lead. The top seeds re-grouped in the next and broke to level the match, in the ensuing match tiebreak the seeds took the win comfortably 4-6, 6-3, 10-5.

Emily Webley-Smith with Sofia Shapatava were defeated by Sarah-Rebecca Sekulic & Shelby Talcott in the first round in Guadaloupe 6-3, 6-2.

Scott Clayton with Adil Shamasdin were defeated by Jürgen MelzerFilip Polášek in the quarter-final in Koblenz 6-2, 6-2.

Jonathan Gray & Aidan McHugh were defeated by Altuğ ÇelikbilekRobert Strombachs in the first round in Tunisia 6-4, 7-6(5).

Barney Fitzpatrick with David Martirosian were defeated by Eduard Esteve LobatoPol Toledo Bague in the first round in Spain 6-2, 6-3.

Jake Hersey with Hans Schubert were defeated by Florent DiepJohan Nikles in the first round in Spain 6-2, 7-6(3).

Dom Inglot with Franko Skugor were defeated by Marcelo DemolinerFrederik Nielsen in the second round in the Australian Open 6-3, 6-2.

Luke Bambridge & Jonny O’Mara were defeated by Jamie Murray & Bruno Soares in the second round in the Australian Open 3-6, 6-2, 7-5.

Ken Skupski & Neal Skupski were defeated by Henri Kontinen & John Peers in the second round in the Australian Open 6-3, 6-4.

Cameron Norrie with Taylor Fritz were defeated by Jack Sock & Jackson Withrow in the second round in the Australian Open 6-7(8), 6-3, 7-6(10).

Heather Watson with Tatjana Maria were defeated by Nicole MelicharKvěta Peschke in the first round in the Australian Open 6-1, 4-6, 6-4.

Harriet Dart with Anett Kontaveit were defeated by Kirsten FlipkensJohanna Larsson in the first round in the Australian Open 6-2, 6-4.

Dom Inglot with Johanna Larson were defeated by Kristina Mladenovic & Robert Lindstedt in the first round in the Australian Open 6-2, 6-2.
