CALIFORNIA, USA – Neal Skupski & Wesley Koolhof were the top seeds at the Masters 1000 event. The Brit/Dutch pair made the final.
Neal Skupski & Wesley Koolhof were the top seeds in Indian Wells. In the first round the Brit/Dutchman drew Marcelo Melo and Alexander Zverev. The Brazilian/German pair stayed with the top seeds at the start of the first set. Eventually, Skupski & Koolhof broke serve to take the lead. The second set was all one way traffic, as the Brit/Dutch pair dominated and moved into the next round 6-3, 6-1.
In the next round Skupski & Koolhof were due to face Stan Wawrinka & Frances Tiafoe. However, the Swiss/American pair withdrew before taking to the court. Which put the top seeds into the quarter-final without having to hit a ball. The top seeds progressed 0-0 (RET).
The quarter-final saw Skupski & Koolhof against Jamie Murray & Michael Venus. The Brit/Kiwi pairing fought hard, but the top seeds managed to break serve in he first set. The second set saw Muray & Venus once again fight hard. However, Skupski & Koolhof broke serve and moved into the next round in straight sets 6-3, 6-3.
In the semi-final the top seeds were against Edouard Roger-Vasselin & Santiago Gonzalez. Skupski & Koolhof broke in the first set and took the lead. The second set, though, saw the French/Mexican pair fight back. Roger-Vasseln & Gonzalez broke the top seed serve and levelled up the match. In the ensuing match tiebreak, it was the top seeds who eased through to the final 6-3, 4-6, 10-5.
The final saw the top seeds against the unseeded pair of Rohan Bopanna & Matthew Ebden. The Indian/Aussie managed to get off to the better start and broke serve to take the lead. However, the second set saw the top seeds dominate and level up the match. The final came down to a match tiebreak. This was very close. Unfortunately, it was Bopanna & Ebden that just edged through and lifted the title 6-3, 2-6, 10-8.

Joe Salisbury with Rajeev Ram were defeated by Grigor Dimitrov & Hubert Hurkacz in the first round in Indian Wells 7-6(2), 6-4.
Dan Evans with John Peers were defeated by Jamie Murray & Michael Venus in the second round in Indian Wells 3-6, 7-6(3), 10-6.
Cam Norrie with Lucas Miedler were defeated by Denis Shapovalov & Felix Auger-Aliassme in the second round in Indian Wells 0-0 (RET).
Lloyd Glasspool with Harri Heliovaara were defeated by Edouard Roger-Vasselin & Santiago Gonzalez in the quarter-final in Indian Wells 2-6, 6-2, 10-7.
Joe Salisbury with Rajeev Ram were defeated by Julian Cash & Henry Patten in the quarter-final in Phoenix 6-3, 6-2.
Julian Cash & Henry Patten were defeated by Nathaniel Lammons & Jackson Withrow in the semi-final in Phoenix 6-7, 6-4, 10-4.
Billy Harris with Akira Santillan were defeated by Goncalo Olivera & Jason Taylor in the final in Portimao 6-2, 6-2.
Jan Choinski with Denis Yevseyev were defeated by Matias Franco Descotte & Matias Zukas in the first round in Anapoima 7-5, 7-6(3).
Emily Appleton with Isabelle Haverlag were defeated by Melanie Klaffner & Sinja Kraus in the first round in Anapoima 6-4, 6-1.
Alisha Reayer with Sofia Roccheti were defeated by Martha Matoula & Gergana Topalova in the first round in Palmanova 6-2, 6-4.
Felix Gill with Timo Legout were defeated by Mircea-Alexandru Jecan & Kai Wehnelt in the second round in Palmanova 6-0, 6-4.
Joe Tyler & Marcus Willis were defeated by Tristan McCormick & Jakub Wojcik in the first round in Montreal 6-2, 6-4.
Ben Jones & Mark Whitehouse were defeated by Tristan McCormick & Jakub Wojcik in the semi-final in Montreal 4-6, 6-3, 10-7.
