BUCHAREST, ROMANIA – Jamie Murray & Adam Pavlasek made the semi-final of the ATP 250 event at the start of the clay season. The pair were third seeds and made the semi-final and lost to the eventual winners.

Jamie Murray & Adam Pavlasek entered the ATP 250 event in Romania to start the clay season. The Brit/Czech were third seeds. In the first round the pair drew Pedro Martinez & Inigo Cervantes. The Spaniards pushed hard and stayed with the seeds. Murray & Pavlasek were taken to a tiebreak in both sets. In the first set tiebreak, the seeds eased through and into the lead. The second set tiebreak though, was much closer. Murray & Pavlasek edged the Spaniards and moved into the next round 7-6(3), 7-6(8).
The quarter-final saw the Brit/Czech against Andre Goransson & Sem Verbeek. The Swede/Dutch pair got off to the better start and dominated, breaking the serve of the seeds to take the lead. The second set, though, saw Murray & Pavlasek fight back. The seeds forced a tiebreak, which they dominated to level the match. In the ensuing match tiebreak it was the seeds that edged through into the next round 2-6, 7-6(2), 10-8.
In the semi-final the third seeds were against the top seeds Marcel Granollers & Horacio Zeballos. The top seeds dominated the first set and took the lead. The second set was closer. Murray & Pavlasek managed to stay with the top seeds for a while. Unfortunately, Granollers & Zeballos managed to break serve and move into the final 6-2, 6-4.

Marcus Willis with Ivan Liutarevich were defeated by Jody Maginley & Alfredo Perez in the quarter-final in Morelos 6-4, 7-6(4).
David Stevenson with Johannes Ingildsen were defeated by Daniel Rincon & Oriol Roca Batalla in the quarter-final in Menorca 6-3, 7-6(5).
Joshua Paris with Daniel Cukierman were defeated by Andrea Vavassori & Matteo Vavassori in the semi-final in Menorca 6-3, 6-3.
Freya Christie & Madeleine Brooks were defeated by Noma Noha Akugue & Astra Sharma in the first round in Antalya 6-2, 6-4.
Felix Mischker with Yanaki Milev were defeated by Gokberk Saritas & Mert Turker in the first round in Antalya 6-2, 6-2.
Casper Nicolle with Marcus Kobayashi were defeated by Aleksandr Lobanov & Evgenii Tiurnev in the first round in Antalya 6-1, 6-3.
Alicia Barnett with Elixane Lechemia were defeated by Anna Bondar & Simona Waltert in the final in Antalya 7-5, 2-6, 10-6.
