SLOVAKIA, TRNAVA – Maia Lumsden teamed up with Mariam Bolkvadze and claimed the title of the ITF event.

Maia Lumsden teamed up with Mariam Bolkvadze and were the fourth seeds. The Brit/Georgian faced the Czech pairing of Denisa Hindova & Karolina Kubanova in the first round. The first set saw both pairs stay close at the start, before the fourth seeds secured the break of serve to move into the lead. The second set saw Lumsden & Bolkvadze dominate the Czech pair and move into the next round in straight sets 6-3, 6-2.
In the quarter-final the fourth seeds were against the German pairing Tayisiya Morderger & Yana Morderger. The first set saw the Germans go toe to toe with the Brit/Georgian pair. Eventually, the seeds got the break of serve needed and moved ahead. The second set saw the fourth seeds battle with the Germans and break serve to move into the next round 6-4, 6-3.
The semi-final saw the Lumsden & Bolkvadze against Ekaterina Kazionova & Anna Kubareva. The first set saw the fourth seeds dominate their unseeded opponents and took the lead. The second set was much closer as Kazionova & Kubareva fought hard to come back into the match. However, right at the end of the set the Brit/Georgian broke serve to claim the match and move into the final in straight sets 6-1, 7-5.
In the final the fourth seeds were against the third seeds Diana Marcinkevica & Conny Perrin. Lumsden & Bolkvadze dominated the first set as the Latvian/Swiss struggled to get into the match. The second set was a little closer, as the third seeds tried to mount a fightback. However, it was the Brit/Georgian that went on to lift the trophy in straight sets 6-2, 6-3.

Freya Christie with Katarina Stresnakova were defeated by Darya Astakhova & Joanna Garland in the first round in Trnava 6-4, 6-2.
Sonay Kartal & Katie Swan were defeated by Diana Marcinkevica & Conny Perrin in the semi-final in Trnava 6-4, 7-6(3).
Lloyd Glasspool with Harri Heliovaara were defeated by Hubert Hurkacz & Jan Zielinski in the first round in Astana 7-6(2), 6-3.
Dan Evans with John Peers were defeated by Mackenzie McDonald & Marcelo Melo in the quarter-final in Tokyo 6-2, 6-7(5), 10-6.
Alicia Barnett & Olivia Nicholls were defeated by Alicja Rosolska & Erin Routliffe in the quarter-final in Ostrava 6-1, 6-2.
Heather Watson & Harriet Dart were defeated by Miyu Kato & Angela Kulikov in the quarter-final in WTA Monastir 6-1, 6-4.
Emily Appleton with Quinn Gleason were defeated by Elena-Gabriela Ruse & Viktoria Kuzmova in the quarter-final in WTA Monastir 6-2, 6-2.
Billy Harris with Kelsey Stevenson were defeated by Sanjar Fayziev & Sergey Fomin in the quarter-final in Alicante 5-7, 6-2, 10-4.
Toby Martin with Nicholas Bybel were defeated by Niccolo Catini & Gabriella Maria Noce in the first round in Santa Margherita di Pula 6-1, 2-6, 11-9.
James Beaven & Felix Mischer were defeated by Luca Castagnola & Lukas Neumayer in the quarter-final in Santa Margherita di Pula 7-5, 3-6, 11-9.
Holly Hutchinson with Elina Zakharova were defeated by Lee Ya-Hsin & Tsao Chia Yi in the first round in ITF Monastir 6-7(9), 6-0, 10-5.
Adam Jones & Mattias Southcombe were defeated by Oleksandr Bielinskyi & Palaphoom Kovapitukted in the quarter-final in Maputo 6-4, 6-3.
Sarah Beth Grey & Yuriko Lily Miyzaki were defeated by Denislava Glushkova & Gebriela Mihaylova in the quarter-final in Sozopol 6-2, 5-7, 11-9.
Emily Webley-Smith with Sofia Shapatava were defeated by Irina Khromacheva & Elena Malygina in the semi-final in Sozopol 4-6, 6-3, 10-6.
Naiktha Bains with Alexandra Bozovic defeated Destanee Aiava & Lisa Mays in the final in Cairns 6-4, 6-4.
Ella McDonald with Merna Refaat were defeated by Anouk Koevermans & Amelie Van Impe in the first round in Sharm-El-Sheikh 6-3, 5-7, 11-9.
