VANCOUVER, CANADA – Jonny O’Mara & Robert Lindstedt entered the Challenger event and didn’t drop a set en route to the title.

Jonny O’Mara & Robert Lindstedt entered the ATP Challenger event in Vancover. The Brit/Swede were seeded second. In the first round the pair were drawn against Taha Baadi & Liam Draxl. The Brit/Swede dominated the first set, with the Canadians not able to get any games on the board. The second set was a little closer, however, O’Mara & Lindstedt secured the break. The seeds moved into the quarter-final in straight sets 6-0, 6-4.

The quarter-final saw the seeds up against Canadians Alexis Galarneau & Benjamin Sigouin. O’Mara & Lindstedt had little trouble getting by the wildcard pairing. The Brit/Swede secured the break of serve needed in both sets, and moved swiftly into the semi-final in straight sets 6-4, 6-4.

In the semi-final O’Mara & Lindstedt were against James Cerretani & Jonathan Erlich. The American/Israeli pair were also the fourth seeds. The second seeds found Cerretani & Erlich tricky in the first set, but ultimately broke serve to take the lead. In the second set, the Brit/Swede found their feet and obtained the break earlier to move into the final 7-5, 6-3.

The final pitched the seeds against Treat Huey & Adil Shamasdin. O’Mara & Lindstedt dominated the first set, breaking early and taking the lead. The second set was much closer as Huey & Shamasdin tried to fight back. Keeping toe to toe with the seeds until the very end of the set, when the Brit/Swede broke and claimed the title in straight sets 6-2, 7-5.

Luke Bambridge with Ben McLachlan were defeated by Treat Huey & Adil Shamasdin in the quarter-final in Vancouver 5-7, 7-6(11), 14-12.

Harriet Dart & Heather Watson were defeated by Sharon Fichman & Storm Sanders in the quarter-final in Vancouver 0-0 RET.

Naomi Broady with Erin Routliffe were defeated by Nao Hibino & Miyu Kato in the final in Vancouver 6-2, 6-2.

Joe Salisbury with Rajeev Ram were defeated by Rohan Bopanna & Denis Shapovalov in the first round in Cincinnati 7-6(6), 7-5.

Andy Murray with Feliciano López were defeated by Jamie Murray & Neal Skupski in the quarter-final in Cincinnati 6-7(5), 7-5, 10-4.

Jamie Murray & Neal Skupski were defeated by Ivan Dodig & Filip Polášek in the semi-final in Cincinnati 6-1, 6-4.

Scott Clayton with Luca Margaroli were defeated by N. Sriram Balaji & Vishnu Vardhan in the first round in Meerbusch 6-3, 6-4.

David Stevenson with Marshall Sullivan were defeated by Austin Rapp & Martin Redlicki in the quarter-final in USA 6-0, 7-5.

Isaac Stoute with Brandon Walkin were defeated by Shintaro Mochizuki & Thiago Agustín Tirante in the final in Cancun 6-7(4), 7-5, 10-4.

Emilie Lindh with Madeleine Kobelt were defeated by Haine Ogata & Aiko Yoshitomi in the quarter-final in Cancun 4-6, 7-5, 10-5.

Jonathan Gray with Karunuday Singh were defeated by Justin Barki & Ruan Roelofse in the semi-final in Indonesia 6-4, 6-2.

Emily Appleton with Carolina Meligeni Alves were defeated by Petra Krejsová & Jesika Malečková in the quarter-final in Germany 6-2, 5-7, 16-14.

Tiffany William with Paulina Jastrzebska were defeated by Mahak Jain & Sathwika Sama in the semi-final in Kenya 6-4, 6-0.
