Lauryn John-Baptiste teamed up with Daria Frayman and the pair were seeded second. In the first round the Brit/Cypriot were against Diana Mihail & Viola Turini. The seeds dominated the first set as the Romanian/Italian struggled to stay with them. The second set was slightly closer, but eventually, the seeds broke serve and moved into the next round 6-1, 6-3.

The quarter-final saw the seeds against Chinese pair Yan-an Hou & Nie-Hua Tian. The seeds fought hard in the first set and eventually got the vital break of serve. The second set was much easier for John-Baptiste & Frayman as they dominated and eased through in the next round 6-4, 6-1.

In the semi-final the second seeds were against fourth seeds Abigail Amos & Madeief Hageman. The Brit/Cypriot dominated from the outset. The first set saw the second seeds stroll through, as Amos & Hageman couldn’t get into the match. The second set was even better for John-Baptiste & Frayman. The second seeds once again dominated and broke more or less at will to move into the next round 6-2, 6-1.

The final saw the second seeds against Nina Radovanovic & Marie Villet. The French were the toughest opponents to date. The first set saw neither side able to get a decisive break of serve and a tiebreak ensued. In the breaker it was the seeds that edged through and into the lead. The second set saw Radovanovic & Villet trying hard, but they were unable to break the seeds serve. Eventually, the Brit/Cypriot broke serve and lifted the title 7-6(7), 6-4.
