BANJA LUKA, BOSNIA-HERZEGOVINA – Jamie Murray & Michael Venus entered the ATP event and were the top seeds. The Brit/Kiwi pair took the title dropping only one set.

Jamie Murray & Michael Venus were the top seeds in Bosnia. In the first round the Brit/Kiwi were against Tallon Griekspoor & Bart Stevens. The Dutch pair found the top seeds too good in the first set, as Murray & Venus broke serve to take the lead. The second set saw the Brit/Kiwi and Griekspoor & Stevens stay toe to toe. Eventually, the top seeds broke serve and took the match 6-3, 7-5.

The quarter-final saw the top seeds against Gonzalo Escobar & Diego Hidalgo. The Ecuadorians managed to stay with the seeds before the Brit/Kiwi broke to take the lead. The second set saw Escobar & Hidalgo break serve and level up the match. The match tiebreak was very close, as neither pair could get the break at first. Eventually, Murray & Venus secured the break and moved into the next round 6-4, 4-6, 13-11.

In the semi-final the Brit/Kiwi were against Andrey Golubev & Denys Molchanov. The first set saw the top seeds catch an early break of serve and take the lead. The second set saw both pairs stay close and neither pair could get a break of serve. Once in the tiebreak, the top seeds dominated and soon had a spot in the final locked in 6-3, 7-6(1).

The final saw Murray & Venus against Aleksandr Nedovyesov & Francisco Cabral. The first set was very close, before the top seeds managed to get the break of serve right at the end and took the lead. The second set saw the seeds dominate and soon lifted the trophy 7-5, 6-2.



Doubles Round Up

Joe Salisbury & Rajeev Ram were defeated by Lloyd Glasspool & Harri Heliovaara in the quarter-final in Barcelona 7-6(7), 7-5.

Lloyd Glasspool with Harri Heliovaara were defeated by Maximo Gonzalez & Andres Molteni in the semi-final in Barcelona 7-5, 4-6, 10-7.

Neal Skupski with Wesley Koolhof were defeated by Maximo Gonzalez & Andres Molteni in the final in Barcelona 6-3, 6-7(8), 10-4.

Julian Cash & Henry Patten were defeated by Jan-Lennard Struff & Oscar Otte in the first round in Munich 6-4, 3-6, 10-5.

Joshua Paris & Jay Clarke were defeated by Skander Mansouri & Michail Pervolarakis in the first round in Morelos 6-3, 4-6, 10-6.

Luke Johnson with Sam Verbeek were defeated by Marco Bortolotti & Sergio Martos Gornes in the first round in Oeiras 6-4, 6-7, 10-6.

Charles Broom with Purav Raja were defeated by Igor Zelenay & Petr Nouza in the first round in Oeiras 6-2, 6-2.

Alicia Barnett & Olivia Nicholls were defeated by Ulrikke Elkeri & Eri Hozumi in the semi-final in Oeiras 6-2, 6-1.

Naomi Jackson with Vivien Noemi Faludi were defeated by Giuliana Bestetti & Marie Weckerle in the first round in Sharm-El-Sheikh 6-0, 6-1.

James Beavan with Alfredo Casso were defeated by Robin Bertrand & Calum Puttergill in the first round in Sharm-El-Sheikh 6-4, 6-0.

Alastair Gray with Alex Knaff were defeated by Akram El Sallaly & Mohammed Safwat in the quarter-final in Sharm-El-Sheikh 6-4, 3-6, 10-7.

Yuriko Lily Miyazaki with Alexandra Osborne were defeated by Ashlyn Krueger & Robin Montgomery in the quarter-final in Charleston 6-3, 7-5.

Emily Webley-Smith with Mana Ayukawa were defeated by Angela Fita Boluda & Leyre Romero Gormaz in the first round in Bellinzona 6-1, 6-1.

Emily Appleton with Julia Lohoff were defeated by Xenia Knoll & Celine Naef in the quarter-final in Bellinzona 6-3, 6-3.

Freya Christie & Ali Collins were defeated by Conny Perrin & Anna Siskova in the final in Bellinzona 3-6, 7-6(9), 10-5.

Yasmina El Sayed with Elena Giovanna Giessler were defeated by Abigail Amos & Arabella Koller in the first round in Telde 6-1, 6-2.

Abigail Amos with Arabella Koller were defeated by Giulia Cresenczi & Marie Mettraux in the final in Telde 2-6, 7-5, 10-7.
