QUINTA DO LAGO, PORTUGAL – Evan Hoyt & Skander Mansouri claimed the ITF doubles title. The Brit/Tunisian were the top seeds.

Evan Hoyt & Skander Mansouri teamed up for the ITF doubles event in Portugal. The Brit/Tunisian were the top seeds. In the first round the Brit/Tunisian drew Tiago Cacao & Alexander Donski. The top seeds battled hard in the first set, securing the vital break of serve against the Portuguese/Bulgarian and take the lead. The second set was much closer. Hoyt & Mansouri were unable to break Caco & Donski so a tiebreak ensued. It was the Portuguese/Bulgarian who edged ahead and levelled up the match. A match tiebreak would decide the winners. In a very tight breaker it was the Brit/Tunisian who edged ahead and booked a spot in the next round 6-4, 6-7(5), 10-7.

In the quarter-final the top seeds were against Czech pair Jan Jermar & Stepan Pecak. Hoyt & Mansouri fought hard in both sets as neither pair were able to break. The Brit/Tunisian were taken to tiebreaks in both sets. Jermar & Pecak pushed hard in the first, before Hoyt & Mansouri managed to edge ahead. The second was not quite as tough for the top seeds who eventually prevailed and moved into the semi-final 7-6(8), 7-6(5).

The semi-final saw the top seeds against the German third seeds Sebastian Fanselow & Lucas Gerch. Hoyt & Mansouri could not break serve in the first set. Fanselow & Gerch forced a tiebreak, which the top seeds eased through. The second set was heading the same way, however, Fanselow & Gerch managed to break the top seeds serve and level up the match. In the ensuing match tiebreak the top seeds edged through to book a spot in the final 7-6(3), 5-7, 10-7.

In the final the top seeds were against the second seeds Alberto Barroso Campos & Roberto Ortega-Olmedo. The Spaniards got off to the better start and broke the serve of Hoyt & Mansouri to take the lead. In the second set the top seeds regrouped. Breaking the serve of the Spaniards to level up the match. In the ensuing match tiebreak Hoyt & Mansouri eased through to take the win 4-6, 6-3, 10-5.

Dom Inglot & Ken Skupski were defeated by Tomislav Brkic & Nikola Cacic in the quarter-final in Moscow 7-6(4), 5-7, 10-8.

Scott Duncan & George Houghton were defeated by Viktor Durasovic & Vladyslav Orlov in the first round in Hamburg 6-3, 6-1.

Anna Popescu with Chiara Scholl were defeated by Isabelle Haverlag & Karman Kaur Thandi in the first round in Hamburg 1-6, 6-4, 11-9.

Ben Jones & Dan Little were defeated by Marvin Moeller & Tim Sandkaulen in the quarter-final in Hamburg 6-7(6), 6-3, 10-5.

Alicia Barnett & Samantha Murray Sharan were defeated by Kamilla Bartone & Yiena In-Albon in the semi-final in Hamburg 3-6, 7-6(5), 14-12.

Julian Cash & Joshua Paris were defeated by Li Hanwen & Mu Tao in the first round in Doha 7-5, 4-6, 10-5.

Dan Cox with Alec Deckers were defeated by Theertha Shashank Macherla & Tushar Madan in the quarter-finals in Doha 0-0 (RET).

Giles Hussey with Jose Elias Yapur were defeated by Peter Bertran & Jorge Brian Panta in the first round in Cancun 6-4, 6-2.

Adam Jones & Toby Martin were defeated by Blu Baker & Ezekiel Clark in the first round in Vero Beach 7-5, 6-2.

Blu Baker with Ezekiel Clark were defeated by Johannes Ingildsen & Duarte Vale in the semi-final in Vero Beach 6-4, 6-3.

Emily Appleton with Fernanda Contreras Gomez were defeated by Alycia Parks & Alana Smith in the quarter-final in Macon 6-2, 2-6, 10-8.

Eliz Maloney with Ilay Yoruk were defeated by Jasmijn Gimbrere & Irene Lavino in the quarter-final in Antalya 6-4, 5-7, 10-3.

Billy Harris with Nicholas David Ionel were defeated by Gergely Madarasz & Peter Nagy in the semi-final in Antalya 6-2, 6-4.

Josef Southcombe with Rishabdev Raman were defeated by Julien Cagnina & Louis Tessa in the first round in Monastir 6-2, 4-0 (RET).

Tara Moore with Emina Bektas were defeated by Darija Jurak & Andreja Klepac in the first round in Tenerife 6-0, 6-2.

Heather Watson with Arantxa Rus were defeated by Dalma Galfi & Anna Bondar in the first round in Tenerife 7-6(2), 6-4.

Ali Collins with Leyre Romero Gormaz were defeated by Katharina Hobgarski & Isabella Shinikova in the quarter-final in Seville 6-4, 6-3.

Freya Christie with Marie Benoit were defeated by Linda Noskova & Fanny Ostlund in the first round in Netanya 6-3, 7-6(3).

Emilie Lindh with Wang Jiaqi were defeated by Eudice Chong & Hong Yi Cody Wong in the semi-final in Sharm-El-Sheikh 6-3, 6-4.
