ANTALYA, TURKEY – Jay Clarke and James MacKinley entered the doubles event and were the third seeds. The Brits lifted the trophy, defeating the second seeds.

Jay Clarke & James MacKinley teamed up for the doubles and were the third seeds. In the first round the Brits were against Kim Dong Ju & Son Ji Hoon. The Koreans got off to the better start, breaking the serve of Clarke & MacKinley to take the lead. The seeds re-grouped in the second set and broke the Korean serve to level up. In the ensuing match tiebreak the Brits edged through to book a spot in the next round 3-6, 6-4, 10-8.

The quarter-final saw the Brits against Mert Alkaya & Gokberk Saritas. The Turks stayed with Clarke & MacKinley in the first set, before the seeds secured the vital break of serve and took the lead. The second set was even closer, as the seeds and Alkaya & Saritas went toe to toe. Eventually, a tiebreak ensued which the Brits eased through and earned a spot in the next round 7-5, 7-6(4).

In the semi-final Clarke & MacKinley were against Daniil Golubev & Evgenii Tiurnev. The Russians managed to break the seeds serve and take the first set. However, the Brits fought back in the second. Staying with Golubev & Tiurnev the Brits managed to break right at the end of the set to level up. The ensuing match tiebreak saw the seeds ease through into the final 4-6, 7-4, 10-6.

The final saw Clarke & MacKinley against the second seeds Sarp Agabigun & Corentin Denolly. The first set was very close, as neither pair could secure the break of serve. Fittingly, the first set went to a tiebreak which the Brits edged to take the lead. The second set was more of the same and looked to be heading to a tiebreak. However, Clarke & MacKinley managed to secure the break of serve and lifted the trophy 7-6(5), 7-5.
