LE NEUBOURG, FRANCE – Freya Christie & Ali Collins entered the ITF event and were fourth seeds. The Brits defeated the top two seeded pairs en route.

Freya Christie & Ali Collins entered the ITF event in France and were the fourth seeds. As a result, the Brits had a bye in the first round. Their quarter-final match saw the Brits against Jasmin Jebawy & Park So-Hyun. The German/South Korean pair stayed with the fourth seeds at the start. Eventually though, Christie & Collins managed to secure the break of serve to take the lead. The second set saw the seeds dominate Jebawy & So-Hyun to ease into the semi-final 6-3, 6-1.

In the semi-final the Brits were against the top seeds Ysaline Bonaventure & Estelle Cascino. Both pairs stayed toe to toe in the early part of the set. Christie & Collins managed to get the break of serve to take the set and move ahead. In the second set the top seeds re-grouped and fought back, breaking the Brits to level up the match and force a match tiebreak. In the breaker the Brits edged ahead and took the match 6-4, 4-6, 10-8.

The final saw the fourth seeds against the second seeds Sarah Beth Grey & Weronika Falkowska. The second seeds dominated the first set as Christie & Collins struggled to hold serve as Grey & Falkowska eased through the set. The second set was much closer, as the Brits stayed with the second seeds and forced a tiebreak. In the breaker the Brits secured the mini break and held on to level up the match. In the ensuing match tiebreak the fourth seeds eased ahead as the second seeds struggled to get points on the board. Christie & Collins took the title 4-6, 7-6(4), 10-3.

Emily Appleton with Martyna Kubka were defeated by Maryna Kolb & Nadiya Kolb in the quarter-final in Le Neubourg 3-6, 7-5, 10-5.

Sonay Kartal with Elsa Jacquemot were defeated by Sarah Beth Grey & Weronika Falkowska in the semi-final in Le Neubourg 0-0 (RET).

Sean Hodkin & Adam Jones were defeated by Pierre Delage & Louis Dussin in the first round in Plaisir 6-2, 6-2.

James Markiewicz & Michael Shaw were defeated by Ben Jones & Joshua Paris in the quarter-final in Plaisir 3-6, 7-6(1), 10-7.

Ben Jones & Joshua Paris were defeated by Constantin Bittoun Kouzmine & Maxence Broville in the semi-final in Plaisir 7-6(5), 6-3.

Luke Johnson with Bart Stevens were defeated by Benoit Paire & Gabriel Debru in the first round in Rennes 4-6, 7-6, 13-11.

Aidan McHugh with John McNally were defeated by John-Patrick Smith & Treat Huey in the the semi-final in Cary 7-6, 6-4.

Julian Cash & Henry Patten were defeated by Nathaniel Lammons & Jackson Withrow in the semi-final in Cary 1-6, 7-6, 10-6.

Andra Sutherland with Milla Sequeira were defeated by Francisca Jorge & Matilde Jorge in the first round in Caldas Da Rainha 6-1, 6-4.

Eden Silva with Mai Hontama were defeated by Elysia Bolton & Jamie Loeb in the first round in Caldas Da Rainha 6-4, 6-2.

Yuriko Lily Miyazaki with Isabella Haverlag were defeated by Kateryna Bondarenko & Hiroko Kuwata in the first round in Caldas Da Rainha 6-2, 0-6, 10-4.

Emily Webley-Smith with Justina Mikulskyte were defeated by Peangtarn Plipuech & Moyuka Uchijima in the quarter-final in Chennai 6-2, 6-0.
