MONTE CARLO, MONACO – Julian Cash & Lloyd Glasspool were the seventh seeds at the ATP 1000 event. The Brits made the final and finished runners up.

Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool entered the ATP 1000 Monte Carlo masters and were the seventh seeds. The Brits drew Marcelo Melo & Alexander Zverev in the first round. The first set saw the seeds dominate and lose only one game to take the lead. The second set saw Melo & Zverev play better and stayed close. Eventually, the Brits broke serve and moved into the next round 6-1, 6-4.
In the second round Cash & Glasspool were against Wildcard pairing Petros Tsitsipas & Stefanos Tsitspias. The Greeks found the Brits too good in the first set. Cash & Glasspool dominated the first set and took the lead. The second set was much closer. The Greek brothers stayed with the seeds and forced a tiebreak, which the seeds edged and moved into the next round 6-1, 7-6(5).
The quarter-final saw the Brits against fourth seeds Kevin Krawietz & Tim Putz. The Germans stayed with Cash & Glasspool in the first set. Eventually, the seventh seeds broke serve and edged into the lead. The second set saw the Brits dominate, as the Germans struggled with the pace. Cash & Glasspool moved into the next round 6-4, 6-2.
In the semi-final the Brits were against the top seeds Marcelo Arevalo-Gonzalez & Mate Pavic. The first set was very close as both teams could not get the break of serve. In the ensuing tiebreak, the Brits dominated and moved into the lead. The second set was more of the same and once again, a tiebreak ensued. This time it was the top seeds that edged through and levelled up the match. The final set was a match tiebreak saw both sides fight hard, but it was Cash & Glasspool that edged through and into the next round 7-6(2), 6-7(5), 10-6.
The final saw the Brits against Wildcard pairing Romain Arneodo & Manuel Guinard. Cash & Glasspool dominated the first set and took the lead. The second set was much closer as Arneodo & Guinard fought back and forced a tiebreak. In the breaker the wildcard pair edged through to level the match. The match tiebreak saw both sides fighting hard. This time it was Arneodo & Guinard who edged through and lifted the title 1-6, 7-6(8), 10-8.

Hephzibah Oluwadare with Eva Maria Ionescu were defeated by Mariam Atia & Yasmin Ezzat in the first round in Sharm El Sheikh 6-3, 6-2.
Holly Hutchinson & Katie Swan were defeated by Katarina Kuzmova & Daria Zelinskaya in the first round in Sharm El Sheikh 6-3, 4-6, 10-8.
