Julian Cash & Lloyd Glasspool entered the Miami masters and were the sixth seeds. The Brits faced a wildcard pair of Robert CashJames Tracy in the first round. The Americans stayed with the Brits at the start, as neither pair could secure the break of serve. Eventually, a tiebreak ensued. In the breaker, the Brits dominated and eased through to take the lead. The second set saw the seeds strolling. The Americans just could not stay with the pace. Cash & Glasspool didn’t drop a single game to move into the next round 7-6(2), 6-0.

The second round saw the Brits against Pedro Martinez & Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard. The Spanish/French pair stayed with the seeds in the first set and looked to be forcing a tiebreak. However, right at the end of the set Cash & Glasspool managed to break and take the lead. The second set saw Martinez & Mpetshi Perricard again stay close at the start. Once again, though, the Brits broke serve and moved into the next round 7-5, 6-4.

In the quarter-final Cash & Glasspool were against Yuki Bhambri & Nuno Borges. The non seeds pushed the Brits hard and forced a tiebreak in the first set. In the breaker, the seeds dominated and eased through to take the lead. The second set, though, saw Bhambri & Borges fight back and broke serve to level up the match. In the ensuing match tiebreak, the Brits edged through and into the semi final 7-6(1), 3-6, 10-8.

The semi-final saw the Brits against second seeds Henry Patten & Harri Heliovaara. Fittingly both sets were very close. Neither side got the vital break of serve and each set went to a tiebreak. The first set tiebreak was very close and eventually, it was Cash & Glasspool that edged into the lead. The second set tiebreak was again close. The sixth seeds managed to edge out the second seeds and book a spot in the next round 7-6(7), 7-6(5).

In the final the Brits were against the top seeds, and Indian Wells winners, Marcelo Arevalo-Gonzalez & Mate Pavic. The first set was extremely close as neither side got the vital break of serve, so it headed to a tiebreak. In the breaker it was the top seeds that eased through and took the lead. The second set was a little easier for the top seeds, they managed to break serve and hold on for the win 7-6(3), 6-3.
