VARNAMO, SWEDEN – Charles Broom & Mark Whitehouse entered the ITF event and were the top seeds. The Brits didn’t drop a set all event.
Charles Broom & Mark Whitehouse entered the ITF event and were the top seeds. In the first round the Brits drew Karl Friberg & Jonathan Mridha. The Swedes stayed with the Brits at the start of the first set, before Broom & Whitehouse broke to take the lead. The second set was more of the same, with the Brits breaking Friberg & Mridha to take the win in straight sets 6-4, 6-4.
The quarter-final saw the Brits against Nicolas Kobelt & Dragos Nicolae Madaras. The top seeds were taken to a tiebreak by the Swiss/Swede in the first set. In the tiebreak the Brits eased through and took the lead. The second set was much easier for the top seeds, as they broke early and took the win 7-6(3), 6-3.
In the semi-final Broom & Whitehouse were against Leo Borg & Erik Grevelius. The top seeds and the Swedes stayed close in the first set, before the Brits broke to take the lead. The second set was a bit easier for the top seeds, as they broke early. Borg & Grevelius could not get back into the match and the top seeds moved on 6-4, 6-3.
The final saw the Brits against the second seeds Simon Freund & Eric Vanshelboim. The Swede/Ukrainian pair managed to break early in the first set and take the lead. The second set saw Broom & Whitehouse try to fight back, but ultimately Freund & Vanshelboim broke and held on to take the title 6-3, 6-3.

Liam Hignett & James MacKinley were defeated by Leo Borg & Erik Grevelius in the quarter-final in Varnamo 7-5, 5-7, 10-4.
Luke Johnson with Sam Verbeek were defeated by Albano Olivetti & Dan Added in the quarter-final in Prague 6-3, 6-4.
Eden Silva with Kaylah McPhee were defeated by Jenny Duerst & Fanny Ostlund in the semi-final in Bastad 4-6, 7-6(5), 10-8.
Zach Stephens with Richard Zusman were defeated by Calvin Hemery & Tristan Lamasine in the first round in Valldoreix 6-2, 6-1.
Scott Duncan & Marcus Willis were defeated by Javier Barranco Cosano & Benjamin Winter Lopez in the quarter-final in Valldoreix 4-6, 6-4, 10-8.
Matilda Mutavdzic with Marine Szostak were defeated by Francisca Jorge & Matilde Jorge in the quarter-final in Platja D’Aro 0-0 (RET).
James Beavan & Patrick Foley were defeated by Mu Tao & Te Rigele in the first round in Monastir 6-3, 6-3.
Emily Appleton with Julia Lohoff were defeated by Freya Christie & Ali Collins in the quarter-final in Trnava 0-0 (RET).
Freya Christie & Ali Collins were defeated by Estelle Cascino & Suzan Lamens in the semi-final in Trnava 6-2, 1-6, 10-7.
Lauryn John-Baptiste & Emily Webley-Smith were defeated by Sofia Rocchetti & Martina Spigarelli in the first round in Zagreb 7-5, 4-6, 10-5.
Naiktha Bains & Maia Lumsden were defeated by Valentini Grammatikopoulou & Dalila Jakupovic in the semi-final in Zagreb 6-4, 1-6, 10-5.
Eleanor Baglow with Tanika Tyra Panaino were defeated by Leyla Nilufer Elmas & Melis Ayda Uyar in the first round in Antalya 7-6(5), 5-7, 10-3.
